- Prepare 1 packages of Mild Italian Sausage Links.
- Prepare 1 can of Ragu Cheese Sauce.
- Prepare 1 lb of Corckscrew Pasta.
- It's 2 cup of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese.
- It's 2 cup of Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of Bacon Bits.
Easy Sausage Mac & Cheese Casserole step by step
- Start boiling 2 quarts of water in medium sized pot.
- Also start boiling 4 quarts of water in large stock pot.
- Brown sausage in pan.
- once boiling add browned sausage links to medium pot boiling water and cook until internal temp reaches 160°F.
- once boiling add pasta to large pot boiling water, reduce heat and cook until aldente.
- pre heat oven to 350°F.
- Once sausage is finished remove from pot and slice sausage.
- Once pasta is aldente strain pasta (do not rinse) and return to pot.
- Add cheese sauce to pasta and stir thoroughly.
- Add bacon bits to pasta and stir.
- Add sliced sausage to pasta and stir.
- Pour pasta into casserole dish.
- Mix cheddar and mozzarella then layer on top of pasta in casserole dish.
- cook in oven at 350 for 10 minutes or until cheese is evenly melted.
- Turn oven on broil for 5 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.
- Allow at least 10 minutes to cool before serving.
